At Charlotte: 2003-04: Awarded the C-USA Sportsmanship award for the second straight season. Reached double-figure singles wins for the third straight season with 12 victories playing mostly at number three singles. Won three of his final five matches including a win over Sam Davidson of DePaul in the C-USA Tournament. Won two singles matches at the UNC Asheville Fall Invitational. Teamed with several partners in doubles. Enjoyed most success with Stuart Lynas when they won the UNC Asheville Fall Invitational Open Division doubles title. 2002-03: Won a career-high 16 singles matches. Mainly saw action at number two singles. Won five of his last six singles matches, including a win over Uwe Gneiting of Southern Miss in the C-USA Tournament. Won three singles matches in the backdraw of Flight 1 in North Carolina's Top of the Hill Classic. Teamed with former 49er David Bolin as the team's top doubles team. They were ranked 11th in the Mideast Regional Fall rankings in 2003. Won 12 doubles matches. Won seven doubles matches in fall tournaments. They won two matches at North Carolina's Top of the Hill Classic and the Clemson Fall Invitational. They also defeated a team from the College of Charleston in Flight 2 of the ITA Region II Championships. Awarded the C-USA Sportsmanship Award. 2001-02: Won 11 singles matches playing mostly at number five singles. Began his season with four straight wins in the Davidson Invitational and NC State Fall Classic. Won five of his final seven singles matches. Posted singles wins over players from Maryland, Davidson, Marquette, Winthrop and Saint Louis. Teamed with four different partners to win 15 doubles matches. Enjoyed his most success with former 49ers standout Jonathan McGovern. They won seven doubles matches playing mostly at number two doubles.
