At Charlotte - 2004: One of three relievers to earn a save ... closed out an 8-5 win at Louisville, tying a career high with three strike outs in 2 2/3 innings ... two strike outs apiece versus UAB (4/24) and Southern Miss (5/14) ... two or more innings in four appearances.
2003: Made 14 appearances mostly in relief. Made starts against Old Dominion (3/11), East Carolina (3/22) and Winthrop (4/15). Collected a save against High Point (2/21) after throwing 3.1 scoreless innings. Earned his first career win against Old Dominion. Recorded 11 strikeouts.
At East Rowan - Went 8-0 with a 0.53 ERA as a senior. As a senior, led his team to a 20-4 record and a conference championship. Last summer, he went 9-0 with a 1.29 ERA for the state championship legion team which went 43-2 over the summer. Member of the National Honors Society. Named a scholar-athlete all four years of his high school career.
