At Piedmont - Named South Piedmont Conference Player of the Year as a junior and senior. Two-time All-South Piedmont Conference selection. Named all-state by the North Carolina Coaches Association as a junior and a senior. As a senior, he led his team to an 18-6 record as they reached the fourth round of the state playoffs.
