2006: Placed 8th at Charlotte Relay...Competed in Pre-Nationals, George Mason Invitational and Winthrop Invitational...Finished 72nd out of a 146-man field at Atlantic 10 Championships
Prep: A two-time, All-State performer in indoor track, Shirlen placed third in the state in the 3,200-meter run. During the outdoor season of 2005, he earned All-State honors in that event, and overall is a five-time all-conference performer in Track and three-time Cross Country All-Conference runner. Twice he was named All-Region in Track, and he twice earned All-Region honors in Cross Country.
