2006: Placed third at Charlotte Relay...Competed in George Mason 6K, Winthrop 5K and Winthrop Invitational
Prep: Earned All-American honors in the 800-meters when he finished sixth at the Nike Indoor National Meet with a time of 1:56.73. Earlier in 2006, Kauffman became the 800-meter Pennsylvania State Champion, with a 1:55.34. He also placed 4th in the 800m at the PIAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships and ran a personal-best of 1:51.24 at the Golden West Invitational In California.
