Thomas came to UNC Charlotte in 2005 as a graduate assistant for the athletic training program and athletic trainer for the 49ers baseball team. He is originally from Decatur, GA and received his Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Appalachian State University. He is currently working on his Master's of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Thomas hopes to pursue a position at a university following his studies at Charlotte.
